The Pond
When we arrived at the estate, we found a traditional swimming pool (with chlorine and chemical filtration), which certainly represented a significant bonus from a business marketing perspective. We kept and maintained it for an entire summer, but we realized the damage it was causing to the environment. Not only were the chlorine fumes not at all healthy, but every day we found dozens of dead animals drowned, including lizards, frogs, and many bees. So, we made a counter-current decision, which many do not agree with, namely to transform the pool into a natural pond with phytodepuration. We worked hard, selected various aquatic plants, and treated the water with effective microorganisms. Now the pool has become a beautiful pond populated by water lilies, lotus flowers, irises, and other aquatic plants, as well as frogs, toads, dragonflies, water insects, and fish. We introduced specimens of gambusia affinis and goldfish for mosquito control and it's going great! Not only is the pond now a harmonious addition to the environment, but it also offers shelter and drinking water to many small animals, including the indispensable bees.
The Tree Nest Nest
Beautiful installation on a majestic Field Maple tree, created by TreeNest in a way that respects the tree and the surrounding environment.
From the creator's website: "The TreeNest Nest is mainly composed of climbing ropes and high-strength reinforcement cables, intertwined and interconnected in such a way as to multiply their load capacity and resistance to stress. Each Tree Nest is unique and original as it is designed and created taking into account the context in which it is built and the tastes of the customer."
The Nest offers a delightful view of our pond and the enclosures of horses and donkeys. A place to meditate, chat with friends, play, or sleep under the stars, surrounded by the trees' warm embrace.
Outdoor Areas
During the beautiful season, we offer the many relaxation areas and refreshment areas we have set up. Hammocks and picnic tables will make your day a pleasure, accompanied by the sounds of the surrounding Nature. Our company is enriched by a swimming pool converted into a natural water basin, with a selection of water lilies and aquatic plants, fish, and small “wild” guests. Near the pool, on one of our Master Trees, we have created a beautiful Treenest platform, where both adults and children can climb up and relax in the suspended nest. From our property, you can access various trails for walking and mountain biking to explore the beauty of Val Nure.
Protection of forests
We use only 4 hectares out of the 17 we own, leaving most of it untouched.
We do not cut for commercial purposes; we only clean and maintain the areas we use safely. Most of our property is covered with trees.
