Holistic Natural Management

The Garden of the Master Trees breeds riding horses and donkeys in Sustainable Holistic Natural Management, which starts from the careful and thorough study of the habitat and social, biological, and physiological habits of the equine, with the aim of reproducing it in captivity as faithfully as possible. The advantages of this management include greater psycho-physical and emotional well-being of the animal, which becomes a healthier, more serene, and collaborative companion. The animal is free to express its natural behaviors and satisfy its needs in a safe and controlled environment, specifically designed for him. Natural management takes into account the fundamental freedoms of the horse: continuous movement, always available forage, clean water, interaction with its peers, shelter from the weather, and a safe environment. This careful management is complemented by Barefoot balancing, studied and created through careful examination of the hooves of wild Mustangs, and practiced exclusively by Barefoot Horse Italy. The lands and spaces are cared for using natural products and energetic rebalancing techniques to create a microbiologically functional and healthy environment.

Our Method

We work our horses using an empathetic and compassionate approach that starts with the Relationship, taking into consideration the psycho-physical and cognitive functionalities of the animal. Observing and studying natural behaviors is of fundamental importance.

We pay particular attention to ground and liberty work, as a prelude to riding.

Riding for us is a bidirectional educational process of continuous exchange in the human-animal relationship, aimed at achieving Harmony in the pair.

The activities with horses and donkeys are followed and designed by Maria, who over the years has completed all three levels of Indian Riding, the training level of Natural Horseback Archery & HorseAikido® and is now a student at the Tao of Horsemanship Academy by Caroline Beste. Maria passed the final exam as an Holistic Operator in Energetic-Vibrational Direction by discussing a paper entitled: “Holistic Techniques applied to Equidae. Flower essences, Essential Oils, Crystals, and Reiki”; she is now training as an Equine Bodyworker at Holistic Animal Studies.
